What to Expect

Advisors who join Tech2Empower Colombia will take part in a rich cultural experience, and can expect the following program components.

Tech2Empower Impact Challenge:

• Partnerships with Local Organizations: Volunteer Advisors will team up with women-led nonprofits and social enterprises in the Medellín. These partnerships are centered around collaborative projects that address specific needs identified by the local organizations.

• Project Development: Advisors will contribute their skills and knowledge in technology and business to help develop and implement solutions that have a tangible impact on the community served by these organizations.

• Cultural and Professional Exchange: Participants will have the opportunity to learn about local challenges and solutions, gaining insights into the social and cultural context of the region.

Tech2Empower Day for Girls:

• Educational Workshops: The program includes a series of workshops aimed at educating and empowering young local women. These sessions will cover topics relevant to technology, leadership, and personal development.

• Mentorship Opportunities: Participants will engage in mentorship roles, offering guidance and support to young women, helping them to build confidence and develop leadership skills.

• Networking and Community Building: This segment fosters connections among young women, encouraging them to form a supportive community and network that can aid their personal and professional growth.
