Program Overview
Tech2Empower USA South: Activism for Reproductive Justice engaged tech industry allies to amplify the work of frontline reproductive justice organizations through collaboration, volunteerism, and technology. This program was strategically launched in the South, where historically oppressed and under-resourced communities bear the heaviest burden from abortion bans.
Tech2Empower USA South combined in-person and virtual collaboration to connect southern reproductive justice leaders with volunteer Advisors from leading tech companies. Advisors partnered with nonprofits to offer free technical assistance, training, and tools to help bolster meaningful work on the frontlines of the reproductive justice movement. This program centered on mutual empowerment and two-way learning gave participants a chance to exchange skills and knowledge for a common goal.
